Rabindranath Ghosh is the Best Astrologer in Kolkata
Vedic Astrology like any other branch of Vedic knowledge aimed at enhancing human welfare by ameliorating sufferings.it is absolutely Science not only that It is truely Mother of other astrology. All other astrology is coming from Vedic Astrology so it is mother.
With this grand mission, Sage Parasara (one of those grand eighteen sages like Narada, Vashishta, Jaimini etc) authored this encyclopedia text in the principles of Vedic Astrology designated as Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra. As the name connotes the text comprises of basic principles of Vedic Astrology in a comprehensive way. It essentially deals with delineation of life from conception to death, the cardinal underlying principles being those Celestial conditions (planetary position and combination) at birth influence to determine the pattern of whole life of human beings.
Astrology is like any other science, however its practice would always remain an art as the parameters of man environments and times lead to different interpretation in different parts of the world. I can proudly say on the basis of my experience/practice the study of Vedic Astrology that the secret of fate and freewill can be deciphered on a logical plan.
The principles of Vedic Astrology are intricate and yet simple. At times during initial interpretation they may seem to be contradictory but really they are not, and at this stage, the teacher (the Guru) plays a key role and no book can replace him. But now most of the ignorant astrologer without studying this sashtra they are predicting and give the fear to their customer and seeing there benefits. So the value of this shastra is going to decrease.
The Sage has described over 40 kinds of Dasas but his main thrust was on VIMSHOTTARI DASA and KALCHAKRA DASA systems. The Sage also dwelled on Chara dasa longer than others. However, Vimshottari Dasa is the most popular one and widely practiced by the Astrologers. As matter of fact Dasa system is mainly figured only in the ancient works of Vedic Astrology. Dasa is the simplest system of predicting ” TIMING OF EVENTS “, Yet determination of future events is extremely difficult and perhaps the most unsatisfying part of it.
Continuing on Dasa System, chapter each has been assigned to Antaradasa of nine planets under Vimshottari Dasa. This speaks of the importance of Antardasas in the whole gamut of Dasa System.
The peculiarity of Vedic Astrology exists in the variety of methods employed in the prognostication of Horoscopes. Besides Dasa and Transit Systems. Ashtakavarga method is quite popular and is being followed by many popular Astrologers. the results of the Ashtakavarga are determined on the basis of precise mutual positions of the Planets. It also takes into cognizance, the actions and interactions of transiting planets with regard to their radical positions, including the Ascendant.
Another important feature touched by the Sage i.e. Panchamahapurusha Yogas assumes special position during prediction.
